New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, took his name out of consideration when his confirmation appeared headed toward complications because of a grand jury investigation over how state contracts were issued to political donors.
More recently, Timothy Geithner was confirmed as Treasury secretary despite belatedly paying ,000 in income taxes, and Tom Daschle is still waiting to see if his late payment of more than 8,000 in income taxes will harm his nomination to be health and human services secretary.
I made a loan to someone and she said she will pay me when she gets her taxes back.
She said she will just sign the check over to me (write: pay to my name) on the back of it.
The check is fairly large (5500) So i’m just wondering if I will run into any problems with her doing this…
Also-what information should I make sure she puts on the back of the check besides that, and her signature.
Thanks.
I worked for a call center in Tulsa Oklahoma, I didn’t do a change of address when I moved to Missouri (because i’m an idiot), now my W-2 is lost somewhere. I lost all of my paperwork from the call center during the move. And all of the phone numbers at the call center are not listed anywhere. I called IRS, and in order for them to be able to do anything I need an address, but I don’t know that either. Any ideas?
Well, I made friends……but, I only worked there for 4 months, and just stopped talkin to all of them when I moved, and I had a cricket phone when I was there….They don’t have cricket in Missouri……So I sold my phone back to them (again, cuz i’m an idiot)

I lost my tax return in mail , so I got a copy of it from my previous employer.
But the problem is that it’s a COPY D.
And I need to send my tax return information Form 1040EZ to the IRS.
I changed my adresse which is why I lost it in mail.
Can I send that copy attached to IRS?
Hi – when I left, I was still being declared as a dependent on my parents. I left and am living in europe and pay a tremendous amount of money here. How do I get into the American tax system at home and will I have to pay back taxes from the last 6 years?
Thanks!
